Live Oak Partnership
Trolley's Running at the Flea Across Florida
The Suwannee Valley Transit and the Live Oak Partnership have teamed up to make visiting all the Flea Across Florida locations in Live Oak easier to get to. The Transits Trolley will begin running at 7 am Friday April 12 to 4 pm and again on Saturday. Park and ride will be available at the Live Oak Plaza on Hwy 90 E. Flea goers will be able to buy an all day pass and ride to any location for the rest of the day. Thank you Suwannee Valley Transit!
Flea Across Florida April is the 12, 13 & 14th. Vendors are already signing up and there are many new communities participating across the state so don't delay. That form is available here.
Also, a huge thank you to Mayor Nobles who came to the rescue early in the day when a breaker overloaded and delated the toys. In minutes the Mayor was there and certainly saved the day for the hundreds of children.
It was a blast.
Historic Live Oak
Our town started out as a comfortable rest stop for railroad workers underneath an old oak tree. In the 1800's it was one of the largest inland cities in Florida. While the world around us has changed, the heart of Live Oak remains the same. We have a vibrant, walkable downtown with interesting shops, numerous festivals through out the year andgreat activities for adults and children alike. We are surrounded by the Suwannee River, so beautiful springs are just minutes away with diving, swimming, and boating.
Whether you are looking for a place to live, play or work, Live Oak has it good!
